Beautiful timepiece

I purchased this watch a little over a month ago. Having recently graduated from college, I wanted a watch that was more sophisticated than what I had been wearing. Needless to say, when I came upon Stuhrling Original, I was nothing short of impressed. I fell in love with the watch when I saw it online. After researching and reading as many reviews as I could find, I knew I had to see what this watch and this company were all about.

First of all, when you receive the watch, it is packaged exquisitely. It is a joy to open the case and see everything that is contained inside. It is immediately evident the care and precision that goes into the packaging and know that the watch will have been built with even more care. The watch is even more stunning in person than the photos allow you to see. It is a sturdy watch with nice weight to it. I can really feel that I am wearing something of notoriety when I wear this watch. When I first put the watch on, the band was quite stiff but it has become very soft and comfortable over time. Do not be discouraged if when you first put the watch on it is uncomfortable. In a short time, it will feel great.

Overall, I am very pleased with this timepiece. In the future, as I look for more watches, I will undoubtedly look at Stuhrling Original first.
An Amazing Piece of Art!

I have always wanted a nice, elegant watch, but never really took the time to search out one. However, my fiancee decided to pick one out for me as a Christmas present (much to my surprise) and I am absolutely delighted with the result.

As this is my first "real" timepiece, I do not have a lot to compare this to, but the watch was presented in exquisite packaging, is very solid feeling, and simply beautiful in craftsmanship.

I typically do not like to wear extra things (i.e., jewelry), but I am finding that I can adapt to this watch well. I like the weight of it and the band is relaxing (though there was some initial discomfort due to stiffness).

Also, of note, I have large wrists and am happy to report that the watch band does fit. The leather will also stretch out a little over time as you wear it.

Overall, this watch was a perfect gift and I am delighted to be the proud owner of one. Do not hesitate on this timepiece!

Who needs Swiss assembly?

Not me, not when I can get a hard-to-find skeleton automatic watch with day/date and 24-hour complications at this kind of a price!

This is as impressive a watch as other customers have claimed. The second hand moves smoothly, and the watch is entirely silent (no ticking noise, as on mechanical watches of yesteryear).

Purchasers should note that you must advance the month register manually at the first of the month using the stylus provided. Otherwise the day and date functions are automatic.

The Stuhrling also keeps excellent time for a mechanical watch.

The leather band is a bit stiff when you first wear it, but I am confident that it will soften with time. The leather appears to be of fine quality, and the band is quite wide.

In all, this appears to be a splendid automatic watch with useful complications, and it offers excellent value for the money. Highly recommended.
Extremely Impressed!

From the moment I opened the box I was impressed. From the overall presentation of the watch, you immediately know that you have purchased a luxury timepiece. The movement of the watch is very smooth, the detail in the watch face is amazing. Everything about the watch is proportionate. The large face sits well with the band width and the crown doesn't dig into your arm when the watch slides down. The quality leather used in the making of the band still leaves you feeling that you watch is secure without the weight of the metal bands. Everything about the watch is extremely pleasing, and I can guarantee that this watch is not going to spend much time in its box!
Better in person

Received this watch as a gift for my birthday; I was amazed at the quality and detail of the watch and thought it to be much more expensive than I found out it actually was. Now that I am looking at it online, all I can tell you is that the real thing is so much better than the pictures can demonstrate. I probably would not have selected this watch on my own based on the pictures, but after seeing it on my wrist I can't imagine anything else there...it looks like something that would be produced if Cartier and Rolex joined forces. Refined, classic looking and not too flashy, but definitely catches your eye. I am highly satisfied with the product.
Best Gift I've Received

Reviewer: M. Buroff,
I received this Stuhrling watch from my wife as our wedding present just over 2 months ago. The time piece looks great on my wrist and I keep getting compliments on how amazing my watch looks. The picture just doesn't do the watch justice. Initially, from looking at the picture, I was worried about the crown being too large; however, it looks just fine on my wrist. When I first got the watch, it was losing time or gaining significant amounts of time for the first week. I guess it just needed some time to get wound correctly by my arm movement because after that first week it has been pretty spot on (please note that an automatic watch will not be as accurate as a digital watch and if you're as anal as me, you'll have to reset it once every week or two to get the right seconds). Overall, I am now VERY pleased with this watch and will have it for years to come.
Timepiece suitable for a Time Traveler!

I've only owned the watch for ten minutes and I feel like its the best watch I have ever owned. It's beautifully crafted and shows it with the skeletal design. Watch making has evolved over the years with high advances in technology but this watch holds the true spirit behind the history of time and time keeping. I love it!

Sincerely,
Todd

I received this Stuhrling watch from my wife as my birthday present. Its a very nice beautiful watch and looks very good on my hand. Eventhough the dial is bigger than normal watched but it perfectly fits on my hand. Have received lot of compliments in last one month. I absolutly love this watch.

Not only do the black leather band, stainless steel casing, and the blued hands look great together, but one look through the back casing will reveal a unique view of basic watch design that is still amazing to this day. Having previously only owned electronically controlled watches, there is something intriguing about watching the internal gears turn and knowing that nothing but the movement of my arm is keeping it alive. As far as its capabilities to keep accurate time, it is great for a purely mechanical device. I synchronized this timepiece with a digital clock over a week ago and they are still running within a few seconds of each other. The day and date movement adjust automatically without issue but the month setting must be adjusted manually with a press of a recessed button on the side. Overall I am extremely happy with this timepiece and would happily recommend it to anyone interested in a automatic movement watch.
