| This pump is excellent, removes water quickly and the special wide base allows it to sit on the cover without tipping. It can double as a hot tub pump, with a different base, and can even be thrown into the swimming pool to reduce its level. |
Just what I was looking for!

| Perfect Pool cover pump! It's built strong and pumps at an unbelievable rate. It's alot better than other pumps I've tried. Easy to setup and has a rounded bottom so you can push it to the center of the cover without it hanging up! |
Works like a charm

I always had problems with water collecting on the pool cover, one season the birds and geese used it as a pond, don't want to explain what that was like.
This pump is light enough to be situated in the middle of the pool cover, and the moment some water starts collecting it turns on automatically and pumps it right out.
It works like a charm, its one of the best purchases I could have made. |

Very pleased with this pump. Does not tip over, drains very very fast. This is the first spring I had no water on cover thanks to this pump. I paid $125 through Amazon, so I do not know why the price is double now...
Three years warranty when all other pumps I saw where only one. Set it and forget it, can leave it plugged in all winter (although recommended to unplug if water will be frozen for a while).
Even if it it broke the fourth year, I would buy again in a heartbeat. |
Performs well,

| This unit arrived slightly damaged (base would not stay on). Contacted manufacturer, who reluctantly sent me a new base (kinda warned me about buyin from Amazon). Unit works great now, as I had to replace my other pumps (little giant) which stops working after just 1 season (both of them). This one states that it has freeze protection, (we'll see about that!). Had to remove it for the warm season, but when I did have it working, it pumped out the water very quickly ! Technical design is very nice too! |
Good purchase

| This pump does a great job of keeping the water level down on our pool cover. The fact that it has an automatic off/on feature takes the worry out of when to have the pump in place. It arrived very quickly which was important since our other one was non-functional. |
The great rule pump! It's # 1.

| I purchased a jacuzzi pump for my pool's cover, as the rainy season was beginning. It was supposed to turn on auto., but never did. Every 4 hours I would have to turn it on manually. I already had a rule pump on my jacuzzi cover, and I should have ordered another, but wanted to save a few dollars. I ended up ordering The Rule on Amazon and I'll not order another brand again. The Rule pump works auto., and I never have to worry about it. It also has a three year warranty. As for the Jacuzzi brand pump, it works perfect for refilling my reef tank while doing water changes. |
works great so far
