Had to remove it for the warm season, but when I did have it working, it pumped out the water very quickly ! We had 6 inches of rain a couple of weeks ago in about 4 hours time. The pump got behind, but it did catch up and got rid of accumulation in a reasonable time. The only problem we have had is also with the plastic fitting for the hose. We've had to replace it twice, but each time it cracked we called their customer service and had free replacement parts in a couple of days.
