| I went to purchase another fragrance when I ran across the D&G The One display. I tried the tester and was blown away. I first want to say that I own several fragrances (at least 14). Some of the fragrances that I own include Vera Wang, J-Lo Live and Miami, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Mariah Carey, and Georgio Armani's Sensi and Acqua Di Gio. I like to use a different one depending on how I feel, what I'm wearing, the season, etc. So when I tell you that this is the best fragrance that I've smelled in a long time, believe it. I don't know how to describe it, but it makes me feel like a woman, it makes me feel sexy, and I also feel beautiful when I wear it. In my eyes, the woman that wears this is smart and independent. She knows what she wants and has no problem getting it. She's strong, but at the same time has no problem being vulnerable. It's the special fragrance that your significant other wants you to wear on that special night. Now, if you read the product info, it will tell you about the different notes, scents, etc. I don't really get into that. Just know that this is the best smelling cologne that I've owned in a long time. Go get it today! |

At first I wasn't terribly impressed with this scent, but it really grew on me the more I got accustomed to its intricate lace work of notes that are woven into one glorious perfume. This is simple yet complex at the same time, an eclipse of scents, the bottom layer being a rich plum with it's velvety aroma enveloping wearer's skin in a blanket of warmth and sparkling golden amber and tantalizing mix of vanilla and musk shining though the warm base, give it that addictive kick that makes me want to smell my wrists all day long.
The fruits are slightly muted here, this scent is no fruit salad, and it's perfect for any time of the year or any occasion. It's actually great for cloudy a Monday morning to brighten up anyone's day. Like a cashmere sweater this wraps me in warm, cozy, luxurious but still updated aroma of a modern oriental scent. I can see why this is called The One, it really smells like perfection for those who like the warm and heady scents but it's really wearable and light enough to be enjoyed by a wide range or tastes.

I spent the last summer in Paris, and I dedicated it to perfume shopping. Almost every day I would go by the perfume store and smell a couple of perfumes - scents that were recommended by friends, that I heard of, bottles that caught my eye. I must have smelled at least 100 perfumes, and this is the one that became a definite winner, from the moment I smelled it!
It is sweet without being overwhelming, fresh without being too fly-away, sexy and comfy at the same time... |

I am prettysure this is a one of a kind smell. If you like the strong over-powering super granny smell... DO NOT BUY!
I just bought (before I realized that AMAZON.COM sells it) a 3.5. It is totally worth it.
Good for early 20's ladies and older too.
It reminds me of sweet sexy marshmallows.
I am 21 and I love it. My mom is 44 and she loves it.
I am forsure you will not be sorry if you purchase this.
Not to mention Gisele` Bundchen being spokeswoman! HOT. |

| As a cosmetics editor, I am forever testing new scents, but The One by D&G is truly a signature scent. Many people go with Chanel no5 simply because it is referred to as a signature scent without exploring other options. The One, is a new classic. It isn't too fruity, too clean, too woodsy, too anything. It is the perfect blend of everything. This is a signature scent that will be selling out 50 years from now. Truly a classic fragrance. |

| D&G's The One is one amazing perfume. It's strong but not overpowering and is distinctly feminine. The best part about it, is that it just came out and very few people know about it and use it. It's not overly floral or overly musky, it's very unique and has an intoxicating smell. I would definitely recommend this. |

| I'm very picky about all the perfume I own and this one is lovely and chic at the same time. The vanilla note is the strongest, but the floral,herbal, and fruit notes balances out nicely.This scent is perfect for spring and summer days for any occasion. DG has a hit with this one ! I was skeptical to purchase a perfum through Amazon taking into account this perfum had come out recently to the market, but since I had purchased many other products under similar category and short timing on the market, I did it.!
What a great deal (very apart from retailer) while being an original fragance, perfect size for a Gift and amazing fast deliver option, as well as proprely wrapped package. 100% recomended..! |

| It's very difficult for me to find a perfume that isn't too strong since I'm allergic to most of them, however, Dolce & Gabbana The One is perfect! It's a nice soft scent that lasts and I've had many compliments about this scent! It's a keeper! |
